These films explore topics ranging from exile to identity and tradition, offering powerful insight into Kosovo’s history and cultural heritage.
ABOUT THE FILMS:
Without Kosovo (22m)In this deeply personal documentary, filmmaker Dea Gjinovci tells the story of her father, Asllan Gjinovci, who was forced into exile after taking part in student protests for Kosovo’s autonomy in 1968. Decades later, his daughter retraces his journey from a refugee camp in Italy back to his birthplace in Kosovo in her quest to understand how her father’s exile has impacted their lives.
